Wood bow windows prices are going to be at the high end of the cost range. This frame material can be absoutely stunning in appearance, but you will pay for the privilege. Typically wood will run 30% to 40% more than a vinyl frame and 20% to 30% more than fiberglass or aluminum. Some now windows will use an exterior cladding, typically vinyl or fiberglass on the outside with a wood species on the inside.

Installation Cost
Installation of a bow window can be a tricky business. The amount of support will depend on the size and weight of the bow unit. In certain cases, support will have to be added to walls or the roofline. Most bow units use a cable bracing system that allow it to be hung without having to add any additional support.
